FAQ

How do I book a shoot?

Due to the busy season, we highly recommend booking a session for months or weeks in advance. Get in touch with me through my email (see contact page!) or visit either of my social media portals to send me a message. Excited to hear from you!

How do we pay our booking/session?

We will decide on your shoot, the date and time. A non-refundable 50% deposit/retainer is required to secure your session date. This fee is non-refundable as I will be rejecting any other enquiries on the same date. Then we will get the contract signed. The deposit will be deducted from your total payment. Once that is done, then you are officially on my calendar. The remaining balance must be fully paid before the session date.

Do you retouch photos?

Yes, all of our photography packages include the Raffy Robles Photography Signature Edit, which covers professional color correction and simple blemish retouching. We believe in enhancing your natural beauty and the overall quality of the images while maintaining authenticity. However, if you require more advanced Photoshop work, such as body modifications or extensive retouching, these services are available upon request for an additional fee. We want to ensure your photos reflect your unique story, so our edits focus on keeping the look natural and timeless.

What is your typical timeline?

It takes me 2-4 weeks for Portraits and up to 6 weeks for Wedding photos (depending on gallery size and event) for gallery delivery.

How long you been doing this?

I picked up my first film camera at around age 15, learned darkroom development and manual photography on my uncle photography studio, and have been developing my digital photography skills throughout my adulthood with the qualification of an Advance Diploma in Professional Photography plus tons of learnings and years of experience.

What should we wear?

I offer personalized styling advice depending on the season, and I’ll send you a detailed styling guide to help you choose the perfect outfits. If you're ever unsure, feel free to reach out to me for extra guidance! In general, I recommend pairing neutral tones with a single pop of color, and sticking mostly to solid colors with one pattern. This creates a visually striking yet cohesive look. Avoid clothing with logos or busy prints, as they can distract from the overall feel of the images.

What is the best time for photoshoot?

The best time for a photoshoot is usually during the "golden hours," which are shortly after sunrise and just before or during sunset. During these times, the light is soft and warm, creating a natural glow that enhances your photos without the harsh shadows you get from midday sun. These moments of gentle lighting make for beautiful, flattering images, whether it’s an outdoor session or a romantic shoot. If you're able to schedule around these times, it can really elevate the look and feel of your photos!
